At Rizse, we are automating the low-margin visual Inspection inspection process. We reduce OpX & CapX costs for the aerospace industry. We service Airlines with technical operations, 3rd party maintenance providers, and the US Air Force.
How did you get started?
Like every great start-up founder, there was a market issue that I was passionate about in aviation. I built the business idea while in college and got to validate the concept while working in an aircraft repair facility. I was able to attract exceptional advisors who believed in the business so greatly that they provided the resources needed to make the company a reality.
What were some of the biggest hurdles you had to overcome? What has been your biggest accomplishment?
I’ve had to overcome the challenge of breaking into and gaining traction in the aviation space. The barrier to entry is extremely high and requires relationship-building and excitement. I feel that the relationships we’ve built in the industry with leaders have been one of our most significant accomplishments in gaining market traction & adoption.
What motivates you each day to do what you do?
I’m motivated every day by the incredible team that has chosen to give their time to build something cool and impactful to an industry I'm passionate about.
What are the top 3 tips you can share to inspire other fellow entrepreneurs?
1. If you believe you can build it, full send, don’t half-ass.
2. Be selective of your team and vet them thoroughly; it’s a marriage, so treat it well.
3. Have fun; building a business is hard, but remember what made you start it first.
