Tell us about your business and who your customers are?

#lovework exists to create a world where everyone can love work. Work is one of the largest factors on our overall health and quality of life, but for most people (70-80%) work is a source of suffering and stress. We're using data science to build a dynamic "coach in your pocket" app, enabled by AI/ML + ChatGPT + proprietary prediction models, to provide a customized practice journey in just 5 mins/day with ever-sharpening insights that make it simple for each person to do their best work ever. We work with large enterprises, but eventually we hope to be able to offer lovework to any team, anywhere!

How did you get started?

We’ve spent a lot of years doing traditional coaching, consulting, and training within enterprises focused on our field of study, Energy Intelligence. Participants loved this fresh approach to work but we were consistently asked how to keep what they learned alive and how to really change the culture of the organization. #lovework was the answer, a scaleable way to change behavior, not just provide more information.

What were some of the biggest hurdles you had to overcome? What has been your biggest accomplishment?

The shift of the business model, from traditional services to saas, has been challenging at times, especially in the middle of a pandemic. We are very close to our biggest accomplishment, launching V 3.0 of our technology as a totally self-directed platform built for many more users!

What motivates you each day to do what you do?

Our noble cause is to create a world where everyone can love work. This really is what motivates me to keep going even when things get really tough. SO many people find their job to be unenjoyable, and often times impacting their health in a negative way. I’m hoping we can make it better.

What are the top 3 tips you can share to inspire other fellow entrepreneurs?:

1. The way you communicate with others is the way things get done so be clear, direct and kind.
2. Stay Curious. It’s a cheesy quote from Ted Lasso (fave!) but it’s true. It’s hard to be judgmental when you are curious!
3. Don't be afraid to be authentically you. Knowing who you are, what energizes you, and what you bring to the situation is powerful and is your gift to the world. Be your bold self, and surround yourself with people who bring their different kind of magic.

Anything you can share about TaxTaker and our work?

Ari and the TaxTaker team have been AMAZING to work with and provide such a valuable service! Being able to recognize an R&D Credit to offset future revenue is just a no-brainer, and not sure we could have accomplished this without having the TaxTaker team help us do this properly.

If our partner stories have inspired you and you have your own startup story to share, we'd love to feature your journey on these pages.
